Emma, Holly, or Sophie?

Baby girl #2 is due imminently and I’m having a name wobble. My partner and I had agreed that we will likely call her Holly (middle name TBC once she’s born, but possibly Kate or Emma), but I’m now revisiting our original shortlist and warming towards Emma. Which would you use from Emma, Holly, or Sophie? Her older sister is Phoebe.

Holly is such a lovely name. Phoebe and Holly is a very nice sister name pair.

Also, Sophie has the same FEE syllable that Phoebe has. They're a bit matchy.

I think so too.

Emma Holly is easier on the tongue than Holly Emma. But both lovely.

All lovely names I prefer Holly, Sophie, Emma. I also love the name Laura, goes nicely with Phoebe.

I like Laura too but have always preferred Lauren. Think it's the bygone Hollywood glamour of Lauren Bacall Wink

Emma.

I prefer Emilia though.

Eh mealy uh. Mealy is a horrible sound and connotation though.

Emma is a beautiful, classical, literary (Jane Austen) woman’s name - and it seems to be underused at the moment.

For an adult, the name Emma seems to have more substance than Holly - it can be sound serious as well as childish. Although Holly is also very nice!

Definitely Sophie.

My daughter is also called Phoebe, and before my wife and I decided we were one and done, we decided we'd use Sophie if we had a second girl. I think the two names sound lovely together.

Emma

This is tough as all really lovely. I would probably choose Sophie or Holly with Emma as a middle name.
