Which girls name?

Grace and Alice are my final two names for consideration - please let me know which you like best. Thank you :-)

Both beautiful names but I prefer Alice.

Alice - no contest, if you like them both equally. Alice is more timeless and could belong to any age woman having only rarely fallen out the Top 100, and doesn’t suffer from the overuse Grace currently has as a middle name too (no big deal in itself but some of whom are hyphenated, so your Grace could end up with a Mia-Grace or Isla-Grace etc in her class too).

I think they're both absolutely lovely but would go with Alice.

I've never liked Alice so it would be Grace for me. But you really have to go with your gut.

Which would suit you best? EG I am not at all graceful so couldn’t call my child Grace as she is likely to follow in my footsteps 😄

I like both, but do slightly prefer Alice.

As a first name, Grace is nowhere near as popular as it was in the 00s and early 2010s. I don't know anyone called Grace under the age of 8 or so. It does seem to be on the decline as a first name, so I wouldn't worry too much about those saying it's too popular. As a middle name, it's very popular, but middle names are rarely used so I really don't think that should stop someone using it as a first name if they want to. It didn't put people off using Louise in the 70s and 80s 🤷‍♀️

They're both lovely and timeless I actually know less Graces than Alices and love the meaning so I would go with Grace.
