Considering the name Axel its scandinavian and means "father of peace" to go with the sirname "Bas" so "Axel Bas" any opinions welcome , Thanks

OP how is your Axel finding his name now that he's 13 years old?!

I think it’s very cool. It reminds me of the programme The Middle which is my mid morning treat when the kids are at school!

It's OK. I think of Axel in 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth', which I read when young; also a heavy metal rock star in a kilt and last but not least, motor mechanics!

It is quite unusual for the UK. I don't think I'd choose it but it's up to you.

Very, very 'middle-aged man' name here in Germany - it would be a bit like calling your child Craig or Bruce - and it does sound exactly like 'armpit' in German. Axel Bas does have a certain ring to it, though.
