My son is Gilbert. We always get:

'Oh like Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables!'

I don't mind as the character is a lovely person 😅

Ebenezer it must be said is a fantastic name. I didn’t suggest it as he is so unloved as a character, but I do like the name and Eben is a great diminutive.
