Little brother's name

We are struggling with names for our boy due early next year, he'll be a little brother to Elizabeth who we are calling Elsie while she's little. If this baby had been a girl she would be Beatrice or Dorothy, but we're not sure now it is a boy.

My favourites that DH has vetoed are Arthur (he says too trendy), Edward (doesn't like matching initial with sister), Fraser (flat no) and Joseph (too biblical!?). His favourites are Jonathan, Harry, or Benjamin, which to be fair we had agreed on for our first but have since become friends with a Ben so I now find it weird!

There are lots more we each kind of like but we're not finding much in common! We had a much better list of names we both liked for girls but I feel like we've been through every boys name going now and need to start fresh. I would have said our taste was established but not too popular names but I don't know any more!

Family names we can't use are Alexander, Charlie, Thomas and Sebastian

Thanks for all the new thoughts and suggestions. I am aware that Elizabeth and several other names are biblical but my husband just thinks some names are only associated with the bible figures and therefore he doesn't feel like they suit us as non-churchgoing people! I don't agree but I'm allowed my vetoes and silly reasons so I have to allow his! Although as someone has mentioned, the kids do already have his surname so I do think my opinions matter slightly more 😂will try to look back at the family tree for other ideas, the grandads I'm aware of on my side are William, Stuart and Reginald but not sure of middle names.

I still really like Joe and Edward, and so will keep mentioning them, and I'd also say Benjamin will probably be the default unless we can come up with something else we both like. Maybe Benedict would be a good alternative, although we'd still end up with two bens! I do have some other ideas to run past him now, thank you!

Going to talk about Francis, Joel, Jonah, Rupert, Tobias, Nicholas, Isaac, Louis, Frederick, Wilfred, Ralph, Jasper, Joshua, Henry and Andrew.
I've also realised I quite like Oscar but it feels very different to Elizabeth.
