Suzanna/susanna - actually quite like it
Xanthe - I love it
Elowen - will they call her 'ello'
Hannah - sturdy but nothing special
Ellen - bit old fashioned for me and a bit bla
Maja - getting popular

Hannah is beautiful. Allegra is classy. I also like Cora and know an amazing Claudia.

Susanna is lovely - I like how it is classic, elegant and yet underused so feels fairly timeless.

Zanna is a great nn - I don’t see why you have to spell it the less traditional Suzanna way to use Zanna since the sound is still in “Susanna” too.

Unlike some pp I personally prefer Shakespeare’s Susanna spelling over Susannah too (isn’t Susanna the original Biblical spelling too? Where did the one with the “h” come from? ) Susanna just looks more streamlined and chic imo.

Btw I think Susanna Ellen or Susanna Margaret to honour family would be lovely, although I also don’t dislike Xanthe or Elowen - they just don’t feel as classic/timeless as Susanna to me (which is a quality I love in a name).

Hannah is pleasant enough but a little dull, Ellen is also a bit “middle aged” as a first name for me and Maja feels too exotic imo - unless you have obvious links to the European countries it’s more commonplace in.

Margaret is excellent. Can be Meg, Maggie, Greta, and even Daisy.
