R names for baby

Me and my now ex partner who would've been my baby's stepdad had picked out names for each sex, he has now left me and I don't want the baby to have the names he picked I know that makes me sound petty. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and would really like a name beginning with R for my baby as that's what my name begins with.

Thank you for the reassurance I did feel like such a petty person for wanting to change the names. He wanted Kingston for a girl and Kevin for a boy. All of the ones you've suggested are absolutely gorgeous will be adding them to my baby name list.

Ruiradh is Scottish and is pronounced Roo-Ray with a good roll of both 'r's.

Ruaridh is a Scots Gaelic name. It is the same name as Rory (the anglicized spelling) and Ruairidh (Irish language). It means red haired king (rua = red haired, ri = king, in Irish).
