I plan to have more children so may still use the names on our joint list. These names were on my list but DH doesn’t like them so I will never use them.

For girls, Felicity, which my mum dismissed as "a cat's name" (I didn't understand why until I saw Basil the Great Mouse Detective) and Lillias. For boys, Benedict and Hamish. I love the names I gave my children, I just ran out of children to name.

Really would have loved Michael for dc2. I told him about a year ago and he said he would have liked to be a Michael. Ach well.

Lily - had an elderly client with that name who wasn't very nice, unreasonably put me off (pregnancy hormones).
William (with our surname and a shortened version it was the name of a famous person in the news for the wrong reasons).
Henry - a close relative used it.

Kit. Just doesn't go with our surname.
