Morgan for a girl? Is it dated for a baby in 2024?

I would appreciate your opinions. I like the name for a girl but I'm aware unisex names aren't everyone's cup of tea. Thoughts?

I know 3 Morgan's all in the 12-20 age group and none since, so yeah it feels a bit dated to me, but if you love it, go for it.

I like it. It's quite a millennial name and reminds me of the shop in a nice nostalgic way!

Pa I've only known girls with the name

I've always thought of it as a girl's name, as in Morgan Le Fay. It was very popular for girls back in the day (maybe mid 90's - early 00's) and there was a plethora of them on our council estate, until Darcy took over. Personally I love it, but it's been tainted by hearing mums wearing pyjamas screaming it in the supermarket.

I’m not sure it’s ever been popular enough to feel dated. Around here anyway, I knew one growing up and that’s it. That was a female Morgan so I think of it as a girls name,

I like it, have taught a couple. They would be late 20s/early 20s by now. Again, I think of Morgen Le Fey. If you want a variant there's Morgana (although I don't like it as much). Or the Scottish Morven (which I love and I think has a softer sound).

The Morgan I know is 20 and it feels dated to me. She also gets called Morg - like the place you store dead bodies...

The Morgan’s I know are all females in their early 20s. What about Morrigan, an Irish girls name?

Do you like Morwenna, Morgana.

Morgan is a truly unisex name like Kelly, Jordan, Dale, Lindsey but I just personally prefer Morgan for a boy.
