We have settled on lots of names and then changed our minds.
Time is running out.

Oooh someone told me a name the other day that I felt slightly remorseful about not considering when we named our son, although I do love the name we chose. It was like Edmund, which I love but rejected because the consonant 'd' didn't work with the start of our surname.

Got it! Edwin. Really should have recalled that quicker 😂

Think the OP might be looking for human names rather than dog names.

Tell me you didn’t do Latin at school without telling me…

@Eltrut "Please let's not do this - stigmatising children with Jewish names. I say this as someone who is appalled by what has happened in Palestine. This does not lead anywhere good."

I'm not stigmatising. I just would not use a name that could potentially make a child's life even slightly more difficult for him if I could help it. And the rise of anti semitism means that a Jewish name could do that.

Hunter, Tate or Sebastian, DH would veto all of them though

I love Joseph

We named our boy Joseph 25 years ago. We call him Joe. It’s a fabulous name and we still love it.

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 21/09/2024 12:02

Alfie, it was my boy name choice when I had dd 18 years ago and still my favourite boy name.

Lolloped · 21/09/2024 12:05

Nathaniel or Zachariah or maybe Maximilian. I already have 2 boys whose names feature in this thread

FalsePerceptions · 21/09/2024 12:08

I shall never have baby boy quads, but if I did they would be:

Dominic
Alec
Ralph
Ambrose

I expect Ambrose would hate me.

Devante or Declan

Sleepnplay · 21/09/2024 12:27

Nathaniel or Tristan. Probably Nathaniel as I like Nate a lot as a shortening.

CoffeeChocolateWine · 21/09/2024 12:34

My shortlist would be...
Cassian
Otis (although probably would decide against this name as I feel it's too similar to my DD's name)
Finn

Always liked Dmitri but not sure it's useable as no Greek heritage.
