ok so still can't come up with a final name but now would like help on potential nick names that kids at school would come up with nasty or nice for brandon or liam.

Nope. Try as I might, can't come up with anything good or bad with these two. Think you're on very safe ground here . Need to canvas the opinion of some small people though, just to be sure. After all, I liked the name Milo until a friends 5 yr old kindly educated me on a programme called the Tweenies!

Erm, tbh kids will always be able to make up bad nicknames, I have ella (smella) bobby (gobby/knobby/booby) and alex (not thought of his yet as he's only 4 days old!)
Liam would probably get Flea-m, not sure about Brandon.

VS, my Alex has been nicknamed 'Alex Panda' by a little girl at his nursery who misheard/can't pronounce 'Alexander' - it's very sweet!

Children will always come up with nick names we never imagined. I gave my children short (3 & 4 letters) names thought about all obvious links but once they got to school they both acquired nick names.

DH is a Brandon. He gets called 'Brend' by close friends who are still convinced he's called Brendan despite knowing him for nearly 20 years and earlier this week we received something through the post addressed to 'Brenda' which made me laugh! His mother occasionally calls him Brandy though which I find equally as amusing!!!
