Patrick Arthur.,.when I see George, all I think is Prince George for some reason. 😂 Very much depends on how it sounds with your surname though.

Thurien · 28/08/2024 21:20

Patrick George O'Reilly sounds better than Patrick Arthur O'Reilly.

But if your surname is Turner, the abbreviation would be PGT or PAT. The former reminds me of tea bags. Tea bagger.

NuffSaidSam · 28/08/2024 21:21

Depends on the surname/what the initials will be.

They're quite similar names, both are nice.

YourBusyTurtle · 28/08/2024 21:22

Our surname starts with a ‘C’! 😊

Hmmm - do you want his initials to be PAC. In the US that stands for Political Action Committee - presumably he won't be living there, but it could be something to think about. And a PP mentioned PGC will start off with the name of a tea. Would you consider Arthur George? (Arthur Patrick would give you APC, which could be Advanced Practice Clinician or Assessment of Professional Competence.)

Not easy! 😊

Nobody in the US would bat an eyelid at initials PAC.

I like Patrick Arthur C... I think it flows better than the K and G sounds in Patrick George.

pilates · 28/08/2024 22:17

Both very nice
sorry I can’t choose

Magehemela · 28/08/2024 22:18

This is what we call ‘overthinking’ . No one would think anything about the initials PAC in the US.

They are both nice, just depends which sounds better w the surname
