I think it depends if you see them all the time maybe? I didn’t go with my favourite girl name because of a cousin with similar. Now we hardly see them anyway!

Absolutely fine for cousin's son! Siblings obviously not, children of siblings (ie children who are cousins) I would think twice but not necessarily rule it out if I loved it, my own cousins children I would have no regard for whatsoever, I would call my children the same name if I wanted - they are so rarely going to see each other.
My DH has a ridiculous number of cousins, both his parents had six to nine siblings and each of them had around three children. I have no idea what his cousins are all called let alone their children and I am sure there are a lot of duplicates.

I have written the word cousins so many times it just looks weird to me as a word now.

My cousin named her DS the same as mine. They are several years apart and we've seen them maybe 3 times in the last 10 years. If you're very close amd see them often, maybe rethink, but i think it's fine.
