What does a ‘strong’ name actually mean?

What makes a strong name? I’m curious as I see a lot of people say they want a strong name, but, what does it actually mean? Especially girls names

Opinions differ. I think of strong names as ones that have good historical connotations. So I have no problem with nns like Lizzy or Alfie as there's a regal and literary heritage of great Elizabeths and Alfreds.

But I don't find names strong if, as a midwife friend told me, when she asks how they are spelled, the mother replies, 'Dunno. I just made it up!'
