I know it’s not a modern name or trendy or anything but I really love the name Sarah. It’s a name that crosses every generation and sounds nice whether you’re a baby, twenty or ninety. It has a lovely soft sound and is pretty without being sickly or twee. To me it’s the perfect name and I wish it was mine.

Regarding your favourite, Jamie. In Spanish speaking countries, it's Jaime
(pronounced Hy-me) I quite like the Spanish version.

"Iris" called out by a man in Brighton with the most beautiful Jamaican accent (Eye-ree-ss) - just utterly lovely. Not quite the same with a bog standard accent.
