Lisbeth50 · 14/08/2024 19:03

Seren - Welsh meaning "star" or Turkish meaning "baby gazelle".

One of my neighbours has an Inaya (or Anaya). It sounds like Annoyer. Her little brother used to call her name several times a minute and he has aloud voice.

GBooArt · 18/08/2024 15:32

I love the name Elif.

I love the name Elif.

Also Melis and Çiğdem, although I'm sure the spelling and pronunciation of the latter would cause endless issues!

Whale80ne · 18/08/2024 15:42

I know a young girl with Turkish parents who's name is Eda.

It's a sweet name which works in any language without immediately being associated with any specific one IMO, not sure what others think.

KirstenBlest · 18/08/2024 15:54

Is Çiğdem 'Chee-dem'?
