Love the idea of a flower name, however lots I don't want to use as I know people with children with the name.
Can't use Poppy, Daisy, Willow, Rose, Iris.
I like Lily but looking for some other suggestions

There's no circumflex in Ffion. With the circumflex it would rhyme with Siôn. Smile

A few more unusual/ indirectly flowery ones I've not yet seen mentioned:
Briar
Calanthe (Christmas Orchid)
Carmel (garden)
Evanthe (fair flower)
Ianthe (purple flower)
Jacinta (hyacinth)
Lilac
Myrtle
Yasmin (jasmine flower)

And a few that aren't flowers but along the same sort of line:
Aspen
Clementine
Sage

I know of:

a Marigold (adult)
a Sage (20 something)
a Camelia (20 something)
a Bloom (3)
a Tansy (6)

One of my children is Viola.
I love Hebe.

Fave Flower name for me has always been Dahlia- so elegant but it does have pronunciation issues in the UK which puts me off.

So I’d probably go for May - really pretty, simple and classic sounding (plus not everyone realises it’s a flower name too).

Wildcard might be Linnea (unless you have Swedish links, then it would be obvious!) , again because it has a beautiful elegant sound.

Poppy
Tiger Lily

Can’t believe I forgot lovely Jessamine - just sounds much less harsh and more elegant than similar Jasmine to me.

Also I wouldn't choose the same name as a sibling's child/first cousin but I think it is OK to choose the same name as a friend's child and the kids often quite like it
