A meaningful girls name referring to nature and the weather but close to a real name

I want to find a girl's name means something like rain or mist or sea or snow or something natural to do with the weather or water, but that also sounds like a name.

I know there's no end of girls names that come from flowers, but what about from the weather or water?

@Treacletoots like a Vauxhall Nova?

Also Nebula made me laugh - Nebulus was my favourite computer game in the 90s!

Some beautiful names here, esp the Welsh and Irish ones.

‘Solaris’ which means sunshine in Latin….
‘Nadur’ is nature in Irish
‘Solas’ is sunshine in Irish

you get the gist

Given the guilty verdict of the Trump trial, I think Stormy is a name deserving some praise 😉

Eilidh or Aileen - rays of sunshine
Lachina - land of lochs
Murdina - warrior of the sea
Moira - star of the sea
Niamh - was the daughter of Manannán mac Lir, the sea god.
Muireall - bright sea
Alna - flowing water

I like Moira star of the sea. That's lovely. And not one I've heard a lot, the only Moira I've ever heard of is Moira Stewart the newsreader.

I love Niamh, it's a beautiful name but I just think most English speakers might not pronounce it properly and she'd have to deal with being called the wrong thing a lot.
