If Rowan was on your list but you chose another boys name, what was it?

I have a Rowan and we're expecting another baby later this year. I'm certain it's going to be another boy but I don't love any boys names and need some inspiration please.

The small number of names we do like are all used by close friends/family or we don't agree on!

Rowan was on my list along with Kit, Robin, Arthur, Edwin, Miles, George. Picked one of those.

We also went for Reuben. We didn't call number 2 Rowan because felt the 2 names were too similar.

Rowan was on my boys list, but we decided that if our child was a boy that he would be called Vivian. One of the very few names my husband and I agreed on!

@17caterpillars1mouse ohh I really like Tobias, do you find it gets shortened to Toby? I like Toby a lot too but it's the name of a close family members pet.

Somebody also suggested Oliver which I love and even though it's very popular but a close family member has a variation of the name and I don't feel like we can use it.

I had Rowan and Rufus on my list - I liked that they both had red connotations, as we have red hair in our family. But we had a girl.
