Baby name help!! - Lyra & Sophie

My DD is 3 weeks old and we named her Lyra as my partner loves the name. She is our second child, our sons called Harry and I knew he was going to be a Harry before he was born and had no doubts at all.

I had some reservations on the name but my partner loves it so we registered her but since I’ve been quite emotional about it, I feel like I avoid saying her name and refer to her as baby or baby sister. I keep going to call her Sophie which was on our list and my partner likes it not loves it. He is open to change if it is bothering me so much.
My issue is I can’t tell what’s serious doubt, hormones or just needing more time to connect the name with her. I initially thought needing more time to connect the name but the more I think the more I feel unsure on it and now I’m massively overthinking.
Someone also made some comments and said it sounds very similar to Laura and that’s a negative for me. There are a few other things putting me off.

Any advice on what to do and the name choices? We need to consider changing asap if we are so people don’t get too used to it and for our sons sake.
I feel like I held off fully making an announcement on her when we decided the name, maybe that tells me something.
Also worried about people’s reaction to us changing at this point x

I love the name Lyra and it’s on my list of names too. I would never have made any connection to Laura.

I love Lyra

I love Lyra. Such a strong character and role model associations due to the book. DH was not so keen but would have liked Lauren.

When DD1 started in Reception there were 4 Sophie's and 1 Lyra. That may or may not bother you but they were all known as Sophie A, B C and D depending on their surnames. Years later even though some have left the school they still introduce themselves as Sophie A. Just that, as though it was their actual name.

I'm not up to speed though - Lyra might be this years Sophie.

Your Aunt is being a bit of a passive aggressive cow, sorry.

I think there are names that you love but just don't fit your child or roll off your tongue in a way that makes you feel good about it. I'd make a concerted effort to call her Lyra for a week and if it's still bothering you then do something about it.
