Alternatives to Allegra

DC2 is due in the summer and if a girl my DP is set on the name Allegra.
I don't hate it but I also don't love it. The problem is I can't think of any other girls' names I really like this time around. 🙈

Our daughter has quite a rare gender neutral name and although I know the names don't have to be matchy-matchy Allegra just feels super frilly in comparison to me, whereas DP sees it as a 'strong' name.

So my question is, are there any strong but not too frilly or too popular girls (or other unisex) names out there? I'm completely stumped.

TIA.

I love Allegra and think it’s very strong, same for Ariadne, however..

Harper, Sloane, Quinn, Rowan, Avery, Riley, Marlowe, Blair, Emerson, Jordan, Peyton. They sound strong and not too combed, and can be suitable for both girls and boys. I hope one of them interests you!

What about Gaia - then you husband gets a strong name with a hard G.

If you are going for an Irish, Scottish, Manx, Cornish or Welsh name (or any name) double-check the spelling and pronunciation.
