I love Rosa.

Mumofgirls2017 · 25/03/2024 22:19

Daphne

rosa second then Hazel

Theoldwoman · 25/03/2024 22:29

Hazel.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 25/03/2024 23:32

If sister is Emma, then I would say Lara or Rosa would make a lovely sibset as Emma is very classic. Simpler and more traditional sounding Rose might fit even better than Rosa imo but may not be to your taste.

Nothing especially wrong with your other choices but to me they feel a bit fashionable/faddy compared to Emma (although I admit I dislike the sound of Daphne).

PickledScrump · 25/03/2024 23:40

Daphne then Rosa, the others feel a bit dated

Ivee · 26/03/2024 00:07

I loooove Daphne but DH vetoed it because apparently there is a shop called that 🤷‍♀️

Lara and Rosa seem quite popular around here. Hazel is pretty but a bit of an old lasy name to me. Maybe that means its due a rebirth though :)

Would you consider changing any of the names? Dara, Rosalie…

But if I had free choice from your names, I’d do Daphne Rose.

HoHoHoliday · 26/03/2024 00:32

Lara or Jasmine.
I also like Daphne but to me it doesn't fit too well with Emma.

SnowFrogJelly · 26/03/2024 01:05

Love them all apart from Daphne
Makes me think of Neighbours Grin

MaloneMeadow · 26/03/2024 01:06

Lara is my favourite by far - love it!

Daphne is soo dated!

Daphne has never been popular enough to feel dated. It’s currently the most popular it’s ever been and that’s still in the 200s in 2021.

Jasmine

I really like Rosa and Lara too. But there are lots of Rosies around and lots of Lola/Lena/Lyra/Lyla/Luna/Leila type names about - they do all blur a bit.

Hazel is ok but prickly

Daphne is too Daffy Duck

Rosa Erika is beautiful- congratulations!

BananaHammock23 · 28/03/2024 07:33

They're lovely names! I think Daphne is quite common recently if that's important to you. I have a two year old and know 2 other Daphnes!

Rosa and Jasmine are my favourites!

Sundaysunshine21 · 30/03/2024 15:01

I like jasmine and Rosa. Lara third. Like them together as well if you were thinking of using one as a middle name:

Jasmine Rosa
Rosa Jasmine

MeDaughterMerope · 30/03/2024 23:40

I like Daphne then Jasmine. Daphne was on my list but husband preferred Delphine so we went with something else as couldn't agree.

Rosa and Emma are nice but I'd want a longer name personally like Rosalie, Rosalind to allow for more shortening but that's my personal taste.

mathanxiety · 30/03/2024 23:43

Daphne and Lara are lovely.

SageGreenShoes · 30/03/2024 23:48

All nice names. Thoughts -

Rosa - I know two born in the last couple of years and is pretty popular, not to mention very common as a middle name (Rose), so would avoid. I quite like Rosamund though.
Lara - very pretty
Hazel - love, though having a bit of a moment - very on trend.
Jasmine - pretty, but maybe a bit Disney princess/90s vibes.
Daphne - pretty, though prefer Phoebe, along the same lines. Also might get shortened to Daff / Daffy, and will sound awful with some accents.

I'd probably go with Hazel, unless you're bothered about popularity, then I'd go for Daphne.
