DH and I are set on naming our baby girl Lia (don't like Leah or anything else and Lia isn't up for debate).

For middle name we are thinking Elena but is Lia Elena too samey. We don't have family names to use so it's just picking another name we like.

Also thinking

  • Hanna
  • Grace
  • Sasha

What do you think goes best?

Thomas.

He crossed my mind too, but a lot of people aren't even aware of him and hopefully he’ll have faded back into complete obscurity before much longer.

Is Lia pronounced the same as Leah or more like Ly-a?
either way, I think there’s too many l’s and a’s when you put it with Elena. I don’t like it with Sasha as they both end in the same sound. Lia Grace works better but it does feel a bit too obvious as a middle name!

Aw my little girl is Lia too. Lia Elena is lovely op

i don't think a middle name ending in -a would flow very nicely. grace works but quite overdone.
maybe something longer like jasmine, charlotte, or juliette? i quite like the initials LJ.

She'll be Lia Surname most of the time. I'd avoid a filler middle name like Grace.
Hanna and Sasha don't flow.
If Lia Elena Surname sounds OK, go for it.

Lia Elena is gorgeous! Love it. It's fun, joyful, unusual but not weird. Got a lovely ring to it.

(I'm pronouncing it in my head as Lee-uh El-Lay-na)
