Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Carmenere · 26/03/2008 23:24

Love it

bluenosesaint · 26/03/2008 23:29

i like it

LaDiDaDi · 26/03/2008 23:30

I like it but I think it's a very grown up name. The Stephanie I know is very glam.

Pinkchampagne · 26/03/2008 23:30

Like it

windygalestoday · 26/03/2008 23:36

its not a baby baby name is it?? its very mature .....and will get shortened to stephie

Meandmyjoe · 27/03/2008 08:50

Love it. Might nick it if god forbid I have another child!

DaisySteiner · 27/03/2008 08:52

Erm, with Lazy Town in the background here it's making me think of pink hair!

belgo · 27/03/2008 08:55

good name. Not very babyish, but then she won't be a baby for very long!

EffiePerine · 27/03/2008 09:01

I like it a lot

AHLH · 27/03/2008 09:05

Stephanie is a grown up name, but babies usually turn into grown ups!

Steph/Stevie/Annie could be childhood abbreviations, leaving her the option of a nice sensible name when she grows up and becomes prime minister/head teacher/surgeon!

MrsBadger · 27/03/2008 09:17

I like it too but I hate 'Steph'

Nbg · 27/03/2008 09:19

I instantly think of Lazy Town and a middle age woman.

PestoMonster · 27/03/2008 09:41

I like it and I also like the diminutive, Steffi.

Ineedsomesleep · 27/03/2008 09:48

I too hate Steph. Is your baby going to have pink hair? Have you thought of Robbie Rotten if its a boy?

bluenosesaint · 27/03/2008 12:39

I didn't think of Lazy town at all when i 'heard' the name. It put me in mind of a lovely girl that i went to school with (and i'm not middle aged ...yet )

Yes, i think its a grown-up name - but how can that be a bad thing? There are some lovely diminutives for Stephanie (Stephie, Stevie etc) so would work well for a baby and a grown up, IMO.

bluenosesaint · 27/03/2008 12:40

I like 'Robbie' too ...but no, i agree, not if the surname was 'Rotten'

TwoFirTreesToday · 27/03/2008 15:00

Great name

thefunkypea · 27/03/2008 15:02

I think of my all time favourite all american woman - Stephanie Powers. fab name!

Cheekster · 27/03/2008 16:55

I quite like the name - its my mums - and she hates it. She said she took at lot of stick at school because of it!

Would possible have called this one stephanie as a middle name but mum would have forbidden it!
