No name is going to be universally loved. As long as your friend likes it, they are her children. And they can change it later in life if they want to.

Huxley isn't my cup of tea but not my baby either!

Makes me think of Aldous Huxley. Probably neighbours of his parents said , OMG what? They called the baby Aldous?! What were they thinking. Ditto for Keir and a load of other names not in the top 10 of current favourites. Let's not even start on Huckleberry Finn's mother (I know he's not a real person).

I'm named after a character in a book and my sister after a pop song name and my gran thought they were dreadful choices, even though she called one of her daughters Kathleen.

And you know what, sometimes you grow into a name. By the time he's 40, he'll have tweeds and a hipster moustache and nobody will think his name is weird.

Or maybe Huxley will be a future PM (or Primrose will). Good luck to them I say!
