Nelly or Eliza

Which name do you prefer for a girl? Nelly or Eliza?
To go with older brother Noah?

Nelly as in the elephant? 90s rapper ? Obviously can't call her that. Eliza is nice

I really like Nelly short for Eleanor! Obviously I’m in the minority!

I spose given Nell is traditionally short for Eleanor it’s not a massive stretch… I mean you have the El bit anyway

100% Eliza, especially with Noah. Noah and Nelly sound ridiculous together.

Nelly is an infantile nickname. Helena, Eleanor or Penelope nn Nell(y) could work but I still prefer Eliza.

I do like Nell as a name but I definitely wouldn't want to be called Nelly, personally. 'The elephant' carries such obvious teasing potential. Don't do that to your poor child.

Eliza is lovely and sounds nice with Noah.

There used to be a cartoon called Noah and Nelly when I was little.

If you introduce your children as Noah and Nelly you'll get a lot of people of a certain age booming "All aboard the Skylark!!" at you.

I like Nell but Nelly? Nelly the elephant, not on your nelly, wet nelly . . .

Or go for Neliza
