Faye - the rest are far too dated, I agree with a PP that it sounds like a class register from the 80s! Cassie is a lovely alternative to Cassandra

TheOGCCL · 22/01/2024 21:16

Rachel

Laura or Cassandra. Actually really like Cassandra but think it might be a very grown up name on a little girl if that makes sense. Although could be shortened to Cassie which is cute.

Laura

amz4 · 22/01/2024 22:00

LilyLemonade · 22/01/2024 22:05

They are all lovely names, I think you can't go wrong whichever one you pick.
I would choose Cassandra or Rachel.

Not really keen on any as they’re mine generations names so think of them as Middle aged women’s names

if you could shorten them as others have suggested then I better

Daisybuttercup12345 · 22/01/2024 23:33

Fay
Caroline
Laura
Rachel

Ihatemondays1962 · 22/01/2024 23:35

Cassandra with Cassie as the nn

NewName24 · 22/01/2024 23:54

How unusual to have a baby names thread where I like nearly all the names.

From those I'd choose Rachel. It would have been ds's name had he been a girl.

(I don't like Christie)

LadyGAgain · 23/01/2024 00:11

I love all of them apart from Faye.

Very unusual to hear these names on someone under the age of 35. What has drawn you to them OP? They are all nice names (except Christie, I'm not keen personally), but very popular amongst my peers, I'm 40.

Really? I've met loads of Laura's and Rachel's under 35, and very few over 35

CuttingAllTheFlowersStill · 23/01/2024 01:13

Rachel
Also like Laura and Caro (Caroline)

Babla · 23/01/2024 01:15

Christie

Chichimcgee · 23/01/2024 01:16

I can’t believe I’m so old that 80s names are becoming popular again 😭
I like Rachel and Faye from your list.

Smallonesaremorejuicy · 23/01/2024 01:18

Caroline

noooooooo · 23/01/2024 01:26

Christie, by far.

Ialwaystry · 23/01/2024 01:27

Laura but I think it depends on your surname too

penjil · 23/01/2024 01:45

No, not Faye. it's very early 2000s.

I'm all for Caroline..such a classic name!
