I am so stuck. I have girls' names galore, please give me nice slightly arty boys' names that won't get hugely popular in a year or two

I know an August (born in October). It's actually a very nice name if you forget it's a month!

Augustin and Augustus are ok.

Love Jonas, would have been no 5's name if hubby hadn't have been a bag of sh** tied up ugly!

MadameCh0let · 16/03/2008 19:11

What about Richie? I think it's a better version of Archie. Less predictable.
Or Victor? I'm sick of Oscar, but I so ready to meet a little Victor.

msappropriate · 16/03/2008 19:14

Gus

LarryVeest · 16/03/2008 19:15

Just popped back to defend Lysander. Of course you wouldn't shorten it to Lice, Aitch you dork It would be Sandy, which is a very dashing and heroic name, I think you'll agree. BTW Aitch, other than Lysander we seem to have v similar taste in boy names: Vincent, Frances, Laurie...

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 16/03/2008 19:52

Wendy do you like my Dr Zhivago esque Pasha?

BBBee · 16/03/2008 19:58

dorian?
oscar?

otto is very good.

Aitch · 16/03/2008 20:01

sandy is a delightful boys name, but as an abbreviation of alexander. seriously, lysander is the name of a child who has ishoos.

LarryVeest · 16/03/2008 20:03

I'm wondering whether or not to post DS's name. It got slated last time, and I have to admit it stung a bit.

Maybe I'll wait til this thread gets closer to 1000 posts, then I'll quickly bung it in and run away

Aitch · 16/03/2008 20:06

if it's lysander, lar, yer on yer own...
