Luke & Rory?

Lovely

ChildrenOfTheQuorn · 12/12/2023 19:09

Gilmore Girls connection. Immediately.

Really like them both, especially Rory

Rory is very popular, and so are Luca and Lucas - so just depends if that bothers you

RedHolly · 12/12/2023 19:28

Oh @ChildrenOfTheQuorn I haven't seen Gilmour Girls! Is this a bad connection?

Also maybe I'm wrong but the R issue seems largely accent dependent and we roll our Rs in Scotland so should be OK.

Rory sounds like "worry" with my accent. I do not like it. Luke is brilliant.

Doublebiscuit77 · 12/12/2023 20:18

I mean I've watched Gilmore Girls 300 times and yes, there are characters called Rory and Luke but i didn't make the connection! I wouldn't worry about it personally.

RedHolly · 12/12/2023 20:32

@Demainsdeslaube that's really interesting because in my accent it's like ROAR-AY, whereas I say worry like WURRY

Good to know Gilmour Girls isn't a bad association to have!

I like them both and I think they sound good together without being excessively matchy.

I like Luke and Rory.
