Think tweed, wax jackets, country sports (hunting/clay pigeon shooting/equestrian).
Please throw me some girls names that would fit this criteria!
Thank you.

The girls will have fairly ordinary names, but they won't get used. All of the Sloaney girls at my boarding school were called Camilla, Sarah (that dates my era, Louisa, Tilly, Bella etc but we're all known as Bunty, Tiggy, Minty, Figgy etc...! As a PP said you can't engineer it if you aren't in the county set!

Our daughter is Georgina which probably fits the bill 🤣 Also like Rosalind and Clara. These were all on my list when expecting- you've made me realise that must be my style!

Magicbraeburn · 01/12/2023 17:08

This is quite amusing, my children shoot and have ponies. One of my daughter's names has come up in nearly every post, the other hasn't been mentioned once.
The majority of children they know have very normal (think top 50) names, with the odd upper class exception

Cat1313 · 01/12/2023 18:04

Jessica.

GladioliandSweetPeas · 01/12/2023 19:01

Are you trying to make the nursery/school staff think you come from money or something? Do you plan on turning up for pick up, in tweed jackets and Fairfax & Favour boots whilst stepping out of a Citroen?

GladioliandSweetPeas · 01/12/2023 19:04

ChildrenOfTheQuorn · 30/11/2023 18:26

I'm low key pleased that my name, my middle name and my DD's first and middle names are all featured on this thread. It's like winning toff bingo.

What on earth do you mean by "low key?!" Since when were we discussing music? Or have I missed something

Coastalcreeksider · 01/12/2023 19:05

Bathsheba

Sorry but what do your kids' hobbies have to do with anything?!

Magicbraeburn · 01/12/2023 19:09

Because that was literally the original post!

You're definitely missing something. It's an informal way of saying 'to some extent.'
