Thinking ahead - TTC, so early days. We have always had a boys name we love.

Which girls name is your favourite (and why).

Erin
Thea
Hazel
Clara
Sadie

edit to say, middle name will be Jean.

I'd choose Jean as the first name.

Clara because it was my grandmas name,its beautiful and it's not overused like most on your list.

Thea and Clara.

Really dislike Hazel and don’t get the love for it. To me it’s an 80s frumpy name.

And yay for Jean as a middle name instead of Rose/May/Grace which have been done to fucking death.

Like Jean best. Jeannie is so cute.

OK:
Hazel - fits in with the nature trend but I know ones who are my age
Sadie - seems like a diminutive, otherwise fine

Don't like:
Erin - makes me think of names like Aaron and Karin
Clara - ok said like Clare-a, which has fallen out of use, Cara is nice, Clara isn't
Thea - there are so many Theos

Clara is my favourite girls name, couldn't use it as had two boys.
The others are OK except I really dislike Sadie.

Dislike Thea, but like the others.

Love them all, but oils pick Clara- means bright and elegant and fresh.

I love Hazel - would have been DS’s name if he’d been DD2.

Another lover of Jean here. We have a small Jeanne in the family 😜 Clara Jean maybe goes best and Clara isn’t a name I’ve heard a lot. Also like Sadie Jean, or could have Sarah Jean as her Sunday name on the BC, to be known as Sadie. I loved thinking about names when TTC, so exciting. Good luck!

As a child I adored my Uncle Joe’s GF called Sadie so I loved the name then but less keen on it now

I like Erin and Clara best.

Clara sounds better with Jean.
