Dc4's due date is rapidly approaching. We don't know the gender (though I suspect girl).

Any ideas appreciated!

I do like Rachel and Ruth but we can't use them unfortunately.

The biblical names were entirely by accident so while not wedded to the theme it would feel odd to break the trend for number 4

Not Rachel, since you already have a Rebecca and lots of people mix them up all the time.

I have two sisters, and we are Naomi, Rebecca and Martha, if that helps at all!

Definitely not Rachel. For some inexplicable reason, people get Rebecca and Rachel mixed up all the time. I can never fathom why people start an email 'Hi Rachel...' when sending to an email address which is 'rebecca@....'

(I know they both start with the same letter, but so do many other names, and I've never come across any other confusion like this).

cherryassam · 01/10/2023 10:17

Hannah, Abigail, Martha or Sarah for a girl

Any biblical or Hebrew name that’s not too out there for a boy:

Jacob
Joshua
Isaac
Caleb
Daniel
Luke
Matthew
Mark
Benjamin
Samuel
Joseph
Gabriel
Gideon
Reuben

Definitely stay Biblical to complete the set!

I would strongly recommend a name with an initial not shared by siblings or parents. For paperwork purposes including school email, and eventually finances and medical records (we get 'Private & Confidential' envelopes with just initial + surname and it's often not clear who it's for!)

Esther or Ruth, Miriam or Martha - all good biblical names that go with your other names. I like your taste.

Also:
Anna
Sara (or Zara maybe?)
