@applepie04 it's interesting you know so many and call it really popular because that just isn't true at all, when you look at the amount of registered babies with that name! It's impressive 3 of those babies are in your circle!

Too frilly and the -iana makes it sound too similar to all the other -iana names. She'll just be yet another Ellie.

I love El names and this one is pretty but perhaps a bit try hard? I prefer Ella, Ellie, Elena, Alana. However would avoid Ella and Ellie as both extremely popular, with ellie only just starting to wane in popularity and Ella still raging. My top girl names being with El and L but having read some of these comments I'm starting to rethink my choices. It's so hard deciding on a name!!!
