No.

continentallentil · 29/07/2023 00:39

It’s not terrible, but ideally you want something longer with Lee.

kcieciara · 29/07/2023 02:14

grace seems a bit short, Gracie perhaps nn grace. Wouldn’t go with grace.

LordSalem · 29/07/2023 02:41

Amy?Grin

TomatoSandwiches · 29/07/2023 02:48

No

transformandriseup · 29/07/2023 02:54

No not with the same surname.

peaceofmind1 · 29/07/2023 08:11

what's the main reason for being no? @transformandriseup @kcieciara @Aquamarine1029 @TomatoSandwiches

I like it! I think with a longer middle name like:

Grace Elizabeth Lee ♥️

FiddleLeaf · 29/07/2023 08:38

No for me too. It’s forgettable.

TheNineNine · 29/07/2023 08:41

I'd say it's too boring. It's quite a common name as Grace is a popular western name for Chinese people. I probably have ten Grace Lee or Grace Lis in my extended family or close friendship group.

I agree with the other posters that the one syllable Lee would benefit from a longer name,

Iwishiwasyounger · 29/07/2023 08:49

I think a 2 or 3 syllable name would work better with Lee.

I think it's a cool name!

sophieliz · 29/07/2023 10:23

If it's any help that's my surname and my first name is Sophie but some people call me Sophia.

Parents decided against Rosie because Rosie Lee (Tea)

Funnily enough that's my middle and last name and I get compliments all the time 🤷🏻‍♀️

Barleysugar86 · 29/07/2023 10:30

It's a nice normal strong sort of name for me. I don't think you necessarily need to have a longer first name.

Have something less common for a middle name though. Not Elizabeth (!) to make the name as a whole less common.

It's not unheard of for passport control and debt collectors to get people with the same names and birthdays, I think you want to have something in there that's less likely to be repeated on another young woman.

MexicanDrinkingWorm · 29/07/2023 12:39

It’s a nice name but I have a short first/last name combo and it’s crazy how many times my full name gets misheard as one word. I’ve lost count of the times receptionists have asked me to repeat my name 2/3 times. I’ve just started saying “first name, bla, second name, bla” whenever I check in anywhere now.
Grace Lee might get “…Gracie what?” responses for example. I’m definitely nit picking though here since you asked for opinions, it wouldn’t be something I’d think to comment on otherwise so if it’s your favourite choice I wouldn’t worry too much

Madamecastafiore · 29/07/2023 12:41

God no, hyphenated names are awful, common and twee.

Madamecastafiore · 29/07/2023 12:42

Sorry should have put my glasses on before reading.

It would sound better with a Christian name with more syllables for a girl.

2 short syllable names sound harsh and masculine.

DinnaeFashYersel · 29/07/2023 12:43

Its lovely

That's a lovely middle name but no one is going to use all 3.

DinaofCloud9 · 29/07/2023 13:08

I think it's too short. It makes it quite a harsh sounding name.

ReadtheReviews · 29/07/2023 13:25

Two letters different from Bruce Lee.
It's fine.

SemperIdem · 29/07/2023 16:52

It sounds like a mispronunciation of Gracie

peaceofmind1 · 29/07/2023 21:47

@sophieliz we also decided against Rosie for the same reason
