What do you think of Gwen? Maybe short for Gwendolen, but maybe just Gwen.

love it. It’s a friend’s DD’s name, and it’s one of my favourites of any kids I know.

I’ve never seen it spelt like that, but I know a little Gwen, she is a Gwendolyn, and it is a very sweet name on her. I love it! You’ve also got Gwyneth

I know two toddler Gwens! One is actually Gwenan but known to most as Gwen. Lovely name.

I haven't heard it for a while but think it is sweet and quite chic. I know a Wendy short for Gwendoline too.

I love Gwen but it clashes with our surname. I don’t think it needs a longer name. Gwen is beautiful on its own

Just Gwen is nice. Not keen on Gwendoline or Gwendolyn as they're anglicised.
Gwendolen is Welsh but is Gwen-DOL-en not GWEN-do-lyn
There are many Welsh names that will shorten to Gwen like Gwenda, Gwenan etc
