Boy/girl twin names. Maddox & Shiloh?

My sister is having boy girl twins and is considering Maddox James (boy) Shiloh Louise (girl). Do you like these names together or do you instantly think of Angelina Jolie??
They would like the boy to have an M initial after his Dad with James as MN and the girl to have an S initial with Louise as MN. Their style is modern. Any other suggestions welcome. Thanks :)

Also she might be named for Shiloh Tennessee rather than the one on the west bank.

my first thought was ‘doesn’t Angelina Jolie have kids with those names’ and I don’t even follow celeb stuff - I don’t think I could name her other kids - but because it’s a combination of two unusual names it sticks in your mind. Maddox is ok but I don’t like Shiloh because it makes me think of Shylock and girls names are easier so I’d probably look to change that one.

My first thought was Angelina Jolie followed by "Not just twins, they are M&S twins", followed by "at least that is better than the S&M twins".

I love Shiloh Louise and James, Maddox not so much.

How about Malachi and Shiloh?

Although they are technically both ancient Hebrew names rather than "modern"...

Both names were used in the Jolie Pitt household but they like them does it really matter?
If it suits them and their family why not just go with it?

When the Jolie Pitt's chose Shiloh I'd only every heard of it as a dog's name or a place, but it hadn't done their daughter any harm.

I instantly thought of Brad Pitt yes, but also that they are twin boys, I thought Shiloh was a boys name or is it not?? Anyway I think she can do way better but just switching one of those names out.

They are the names of Angelina Jolie's kids though her twins are Vivienne and Knox.
I dislike Maddox and Shiloh as names; your sister obviously likes them.

Maddox is a surname, Shiloh is Biblical.

But yes, I would totally think OP was a massive Angelina Jolie fan.

Yes they’re instantly recognisable as Angelina Jolie’s children’s names! Shae is pretty as long as they don’t mind the Game of Thrones reference.

Maddox sounds like a badly behaved lower class child. The sort whose Mother goes shopping in pyjamas, smoking.

Isn't Shiloh something in Biblical history? So it's like calling a girl Jerusalem.
