Just that really. Looking to name DS2 and curious about what you’d choose. He’ll most likely be fair with blue eyes and blonde/red hair, if that makes a difference.

Archie Fox has a nice ring to it.

Floppyelf · 21/06/2023 09:54

Paris Fox
Rudy Fox.
Cole Fox.

Something with two or three syllables sounds better with a short surname I think:

Theo
Harry
Leo
Joseph
Oliver
Arlo
Wilbur
Jacob
Rustin
Reuben (my favourite)

James Fox
Noah Fox
Rueben Fox
Oliver Fox
Daniel Fox
Liam Fox

Oliver is way too used these days.
Leo Fox
Henry Fox
Hugo Fox.

Interestingly none of you have picked DS’s name or any of the names on our shortlist- maybe they don’t go 😂.

Reuben has come up a few times and was the front runner for DS1 but just didn’t suit him, we haven’t put it down for DS2 because if he’s anything like his brother I just can’t imagine it.

Felix Fox. That would be an amazing name.

I think Fox is a fantastic surname. There was a MN thread about names a good few years ago and the OPs surname was Fox-Wild. It's been my dream surname ever since 😅

NotEverORNever · 21/06/2023 10:03

I've just checked and the Fox-Wilde thread was from 2012

Here is the thread.

I would avoid alliteration

Reuben Fox is fantastic!

watcherintherye · 21/06/2023 10:08

So lucky! Almost anything will be enhanced by that surname.

Traditional - William/Will Fox, Benjamin/Ben Fox

Unusual - Iago Fox, Xavier Fox

Even a couple of names from a thread yesterday sound better -
Dorian Fox, Florian Fox, anyone?

RedRiverSun · 21/06/2023 10:10

Rueben Fox would become Rue Fox which will make him a double barrelled animal....nooo.

James Fox
Edward Fox
Levi Fox
Sebastian Fox

DS1’s name is Nathaniel ( known as Nate).

I think just about any name would go with Fox except I personally wouldn't choose one starting with an F.

It must be one of the easiest matches. <looking at my long complicated surname and sighs with jealousy>
