Susanna what does it say to you?

Not a baby names question but I want to become self employed as a gardener and marketing wise I've been advised to use a personal name for my target market (older clientele) whilst still appealing to everyone. For various reasons I can't use my first name so I'm stuck with one of my middle names (I have three). So the candidates are

Susanna
Ela
Daisy

Thanks in advance

Daisy would make sense for a gardener Smile

Susanna - I only know one and she is Spanish by blood but born and bred in the UK.
Ela - the ones I know are Welsh
Daisy - pretty flowers you might not want in your lawn

Is this for a business name or is this the name you are going to tell your clients you are called?

Daisy the gardener seems the most obvious.

Gistbury · 07/06/2023 15:41

Daisy Daffodil

Frankiefarr · 07/06/2023 16:07

yes business name and the name I would use if that makes sense like Joe Bloggs Gardener

Wasn't sure if Daisy might be too obvious.

Susanna means Lily

squashyhat · 07/06/2023 16:26

It says Oh Susanna, don't you cry for me. I come from Alabama with a banjo on my knee. HTH

CC4712 · 07/06/2023 16:29

Susanna- For someone searching the name or using the email address, assuming its susannas-gardening.co.uk etc I would worry that clients might spell is Suzanna, Suzana, Susanne etc and not find you

Ela- As above as its usually spelt Ella

Daisy- Perfect

Hellocatshome · 07/06/2023 16:32

I think even though Daisy is very obvious this is a good thing. I think if I found out my elderly relatives were using a service and someone had given them a false name I would be less alarmed if that false name was obviously made up because it sounded good for the profession if you see what I mean. I'm not sure people would make the Susanna or Ella references as easily.

Daisy! Lean into the nominative determinism!

Whatwouldnanado · 07/06/2023 16:44

Go with Daisy. There may be confusion with spelling of Susanna.

RoseApp · 07/06/2023 21:07

Thanks everyone that’s a really good point about the spelling of Susanna that I hadn’t thought of

user1492757084 · 08/06/2023 07:47

Susanna sounds more capable and mature.

Susanna Garden Guro

Susanna Gardens

      Susanna

Garden Maintenance

SerotinaPickeler · 08/06/2023 07:49

Susanna is Shakespearean. Go with Daisy, it's perfect.

TheSandgroper · 08/06/2023 15:23

Go with Susanna. Strong, capable, rolls well. There are lots of Daisies around. I haven’t heard a Susanna in years. I think it would do well.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 08/06/2023 15:44

Susanna is a not very nice girl I went to school with

peaceinourtime · 15/06/2023 05:06

Susanna or Susana is nice, go for that.

The first thing I thought! This will be my ear worm for the day. I think it's great! I'd be singing this each time you visited. Not to you, just in anticipation.

StopStartStop · 15/06/2023 05:30

Susanna won't do. She bathed in her garden and the elders watched and demanded sex, then falsely accused her of having adulterous sex with a young man. It's biblical, (for Roman Catholics, not Protestants), book of Daniel. Whoever suggested that name was taking the piss.

SneezyEvie · 17/06/2023 21:58

Definitely Daisy!
