Felix - cat (food) association too strong?

Hi all

Just that really.

I adore the name but DH thinks it’s just cat food or alternatively the name of a cat.

I don’t agree and even if that was the case we would soon shed any feline associations because it would be the name of our gorgeous son instead!

Brother is Rupert.

My (mid-twenties) adult DC has a friend called Felix. I love the name and he's a great bloke. I never think of cats when I hear the name, I like it!

I like it. I do associate it with the vintage cartoon cat though; but no matter I would still use it.

I know of the cat food but no association in my mind.

I like the name Felix, never met one in rl.

Our Felix is 24, commonly known to all his mates as Fe.
