Oh no... my name, my mum's and my husband's are all on here Blush

For me it would be Karen - before it had its current connotations of course. I knew two who were mean, then an adult one who was lovely and now probably hates her name! For a boy maybe Neill or Lance - they were bullies!

Hayley, Georgia, Jennifer, Olivia or Jessica. Still can't stand the names no idea why, maybe it's because of the ones I've met but can't think I disliked anyone with those names. It's the feeling it gives me when I pronounce them I think ?

Toby
Imogen

I’m not sure why I never liked the names. I never knew a Toby but it always reminded me of the Chef on the Toby Carvery signs. There was an Imogen in my class who was lovely but I couldn’t stand her name. I don’t mind Toby now, prefer Tobias. Still don’t like Imogen

Kirsteen - two in my primary school were horrors

Marcus

Sorry, misread the question. I hated a person called Marcus (bully) but not the name.

Jack, Jake, Rory, Albert, Arthur
Ethel, Doris, Maureen. Maud.

Basically any 'old person' name. Can't stand them.

I can honestly say that I never thought of hating another child’s name growing up. Any names I didn’t or don’t like are associated with children or people I was exposed to growing up and the association with their name.

Emma. It's objectively a nice enough name but I've never met an Emma who isn't a complete PITA. Sorry to all the Emmas.

That's so funny as I've never met an Emma I didn't like! I love Emma's.

Hilary or Valerie. They both sound too much like celery

Edith- as a child I read a book with an Edith in it, presumed it was pronounced Eh-dith and hated it because I thought it sounded too 'boyish', like Edward or something. Even worse when her nickname was Edie (or Eddie as I thought). Now I know how to say it it's not so bad after all!

Emma and Ryan. I can remember being so baffled in the Friends episode when Monica tells Rachel her dream baby name is Emma.

Me too actually! But not even because I hated the name Emma, just because it seemed so nothingy and unremarkable, I couldn't believe a) Monica loved it so much and b) Rachel wouldn't have thought of it herself when it was so common!
