As a child I always wanted to call my daughter Jennifer as I loved it so much. She isn’t Jennifer 🤣

No, but my sister used it as a second name for her dd
And as a happy coincidence DIL gave it as a second for her first dd.

My name isn't very common, but not dated or current. I'd definitely consider using it for a girl's middle name or the male version of my name as a first name for a boy.

I'd be more likely to use it for a boy to be honest.

Yes, I’ve always liked my name. It’s a classic and still used for babies today, having been in the top 50 for decades. I don’t mind that it’s popular in the slightest.

No, it's a rather regal name (think Victoria/Elizabeth/Anne) and while I like it, it's not a name I LOVE

No. It was definitely a 'middle aged woman' name when I was in my teens in the 80s. That's because my DM called me after several of her friends - who by then were middle aged women.

It's not really made a comeback. Think Margaret or Jean.

Not popular in the 80s. Not popular now. I'm not keen on it.

Yea, I love my name. It signifies my ethnic and cultural heritage. My daughter is mixed race and her 1st name is from the same "family" of names

No. It's not a horrible name, and is still very popular in the country it originates from, but I don't come from that country, it's virtually unheard of here, and I have spent my whole life explaining it. No idea what my parents were thinking, no way I'd saddle a child of mine with it.

I have a very 80's name so no. However, there was a very famous love island contestant last year with the same name so it may become popular again 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, absolutely. It’s short, classic without being too common and strong, also it’s clearly a girls name.
One of my close friends just called her baby daughter the same name.

Yes, it’s a classic name regularly used but not common. However I definitely wouldn’t use my middle name, it’s a filler name of our generation.

Yes, though the ones I know under 10 use the long version (like Elizabeth) whereas I in my 50 s, and my DD's friend's 30 year old mum, use the nickname (like Lizzie), it's come back in waves and waves, just a classic.

If I was having the baby in 2023 then maybe. It's a classic name but was used to death in the 1970's (not Sarah - that's my sister), so I'm one of 4 in a relatively small workplace.

For small children now it's much less common, but still totally usable.

DH's name - no. It was already an old man's name when he was given it, and not one likely to get a revival!
