In that order.

Heidi. Absolutely love this.
Then Rosa. Then Harriet.
Not keen on Polly at all.

All four names are sweet.
It depends on the second name/family name and the surname as to whether I like one more than the other.

Polly - casual, uncommon but well known and Mary related.
Heidi - European, familiar but not over popular, vibrant.
Harriet - traditional, cute nick names, womanly.
Rosa - beautiful, under used, Italian flavour, simple.

Smallonesaremorejuicy · 17/04/2023 06:01

Polly is lovely.
Heidi awful.
Like Hattie but not Harriet.
Rosa is nice .

Love your list, we must have very similar taste as we considered all of these.
Unfortunately for us Harriet and Rosa were out as we have these (or very close variations) already in the family. I think Harriet is classic and beautiful, with good nickname options. Don’t come across it often and all the Harriets I know are lovely.
I really liked Polly, DH vetoed it due to it being a bit cutesy with the nursery rhyme associations, although I don’t get this vibe from the name. Heidi is still in consideration for us.
I’m surprised to see some people loving Heidi and disliking Polly, or vice versa, as to me they have very similar vibes - although obviously opinion differs!
Honestly don’t think you can go wrong with any from your list, all lovely names.

Heidi, Harriet and Polly were on my list 17 years ago but I had boys!

Definitely Harriet. I’ve only met one, a girl of about 4/5. Rosa is ok. I’m not keen on Polly or Heidi. Polly just makes me think of parrots or Polly put the kettle on, and although I want to like Heidi, in my head it just keeps sounding like ‘hidey ho.’

Oh no, I think you’ve ruined Heidi for me!!

Epicstorm · 17/04/2023 15:02

Love Rosa.
Not keen on Harriet . Like Hattie.
Really dislike Heidi & Polly

Marsyas · 17/04/2023 15:08

I really like all of them so it is hard to choose but I am going with - Harriet, Polly, Rosa, Heidi. Heidi definitely last (although I like it) but the others could be in any order really!

PurpleAirGuitar · 17/04/2023 15:54

I like them all, but I think Harriet and Rosa have the slight edge over Heidi and Polly. There's not a lot in it though!

Daisybuttercup12345 · 17/04/2023 21:38

Harriet only one I like.
Heidi
Polly
Rosa.

ourflagmeansdeath · 18/04/2023 06:32

Heidi is my absolute favourite, love that name. Then Rosa which is really pretty as well, lovely name. And then Harriet which I'm not as keen on and then Polly which I dislike.

Wigglypasta · 18/04/2023 06:42

Heidi, Harriet, Polly, Rosa - in that order.

RobertaTheRotund · 18/04/2023 06:45

Harriett is my favourite. Rosa is my least favourite if you live in the uk as I don't like the pronunciation here

Samzzz · 18/04/2023 17:24

Polly. Such a sweet choice and not popular.

EdgeOfACoin · 18/04/2023 21:39

Rosa is my favourite, followed by Harriet.

Heidi is okay.

Dislike Polly. I think it is a very twee name.

Snapdragonz · 18/04/2023 22:28

Rosa, Polly, Harriet then Heidi.

I don't see Heidi as being in the same bracket as the first three somehow, I don't know why. For me, it's the equivalent of something that goes well only some of the time, instead of all of the time. That's just me though. It's still pretty. Similarly Harriet but less so, but I think Rosa and Polly are lovely all-round names and not that common either.

AutumnColours9 · 18/04/2023 22:38

Rosa is lovely
Never been keen on Harriet
