Both were in my class in the eighties. But I do quite like Mikey.

Michael. A few nn options too! Mick, Mike, Mickey or Mikey. Michael itself is lovely and classic and I wouldn’t shorten it but it’s likely inevitable that it will be so it’s nice to have several options

Michael is by far more handsome than Matthew.
