Laurel or Laurelle?

Is Laurelle just too 'made up'?

I’d say Laurelle with emphasis on the elle. A bit like cushelle. I don’t think elle works well with laurel because the el at the end doesn’t sound like elle, it’s a shorter sound.

I'd pronounce Laurelle as lore-Elle rather than lor-ul (Laurel)

I like Laurel and also Laura and Lauren which may be out of fashion, I don't know.

I like the shortening Laurie better than Elle. I suppose "L" is quite cool, but with so many Elles and Ellas, I'd rather use the Laur bit as more distinctive in this day and age.
