Hi all
Really struggling to think of a name for my little boy
Nothing seems right??
The longer it goes on the harder it's getting
What name comes to mind or what do you think he looks like
Like unusual names but not out there
Was thinking Cassius

cassius Oscar is lovely too though. ‘Cass’ for short

OutofControl3 · 17/02/2023 10:52

@tulips27 🤣

Yes I'm prone to the name Oscar, I called my lo that 5 weeks ago!

Martamaybe · 17/02/2023 10:55

Levi. Congratulations !!

Patrick

clpsmum · 17/02/2023 10:56

He looks like an Elliot to me

Zebracat · 17/02/2023 10:56

He looks peaceful and contemplative. I associate Cassius with Mohammed Ali the boxer before the name change. So it seems too physical I think he needs a name like Isaac or Anselm or Jude.

Joe

Albie sprung straight into my mind when I saw him, not a name I've ever considered before. What a cutie he is!

girlmumma2019 · 17/02/2023 11:00

The first name that came to mind was George 😊 congratulations!

Inyournightgarden · 17/02/2023 11:01

cassius? Seriously? He will get slaughtered at school over that based on my memories of school anyway

Oscar suits him, tho my first thought was Peter!

RitaBea · 17/02/2023 11:07

Gilbert (Bertie). Congratulations, he’s very cute. Would suit an ‘old man name’.

Moosh18 · 17/02/2023 11:11

I wouldn't read too much into that. They're back in fashion. I know an Albert and a Wilfred and they're both under two years' old.

AllOfThemWitches · 17/02/2023 11:16

Awwww ❤️

ScreamALullabye · 17/02/2023 11:18

I don't see why? While not common, there will probably be more than one Cassius in his school?

Paella2022 · 17/02/2023 11:22

Henry
Eric
Stanley

Mummyoflittledragon · 17/02/2023 11:22

I thought of Fergus when I saw his little face. Congratulations. It means the strong one. However, I think Cassius is a lovely name.

I don’t believe he will get slaughtered on the playground for the name Cassius. These days, children have a wide range of names from the traditional to made up and no one apart from perhaps the parents of other children bats an eye lid. Their normal and the normal of older generations are so completely different.

sillysocks22 · 17/02/2023 11:28

Cassius Oscar or Cassian Oscar are lovely
Jacob and Freddie also came to mind when I looked at his sweet little face. Congratulations
