What's Orla's brother called?

Currently 13 weeks pregnant with our second baby and I'm fairly convinced it's a boy . . . I know, I know, it's 50-50, but I'm still thinking ahead and panicking slightly as I don't love any of the boys names we've thought of so far!

What are your suggestions for a boys name that works well with sibling name 'Orla', doesn't have too many 'n'a as it won't work with my surname, and an Irish or Welsh name would be a bonus due to family roots?

I quite like:

Tadhg (pronounced Tai-ig)
Keir
Cory
Rory
Toby

Would love your ideas and opinions, thank you!

Arlo - an anagram of Orla? Too cheesy?

CounterQueen · 13/02/2023 20:59

Otis immediately sprang to mind. Orla and Otis.

I only saw your title and come on to say Tadhg! I love the name and I think once you’ve explained the pronunciation you won’t have ongoing issues

momtoboys · 13/02/2023 21:17

Love Tadhg and Rory!

BouncyBabyNumber2 · 13/02/2023 21:18

I really like some of these, thank you so much!

Finn - LOVE it and would be my first choice, but it doesn't work with surname, too n-heavy. Dammit!

@DipperandMabel I did think of Arlo but it reminds me too much of The Good Dinosaur, which DD was obsessed with for a while!

I'm so sorry I'm not replying to everyone individually - thank you so much for all the suggestions!

We really love Flynn (which sounds like it probably wouldn't work for you) and Reid.
Or how about Ellis, Lewis, Rhys? I think they are all Welsh
