Zen or Axl boys name

So we due in few weeks and picking a name is so Freaking hard! After name discussions, we have agreed on Axl or Zen (I know it's not everyone's cup of tea). We already have a boy Kai 😍
Is there any more short unusual unique names out there?

How about Zen but with an X? Xen.

Kit and Ash are lovely, nice tall sporty successful boys come to mind.

Do those who oppose Zen on the grounds that the child might not be zen also go around telling people not to name their children Grace or Joy or Hope or Faith?

Yes. Virtue names are usually shirty. Don't get me started on Mercy or Prudence...

@LaLaLouella Lex was on my list, loved it despite the Spider-Man thing 🙂 can't remember why DH voted against.

Kai and Zen

Before naming a child remember that they will be stuck with it until they can legally change it! Try to imagine what it would be like for the child to have the piss taken out of it something rotten in the playground because of its name.

I was given my maternal grandmother's middle name, which sounded desperately old-fashioned and agonising when the Magic Roundabout appeared. (No, I am not called Ermintrude).

Axel - but spell it properly or it sounds like a tyre brand or something. Younique spellings are just silly and unfair.

Zen is both ludicrous and a heavy burden. Zach is nice.

Axl makes me think of guns n roses. Zen isn’t really a proper name. I won’t really like either tbh.
