Help me name my 4th child (a girl) if my other children are …

Sebastian, Max and Alice. We agreed on Alice for DD1 pretty quickly, the only other names we really considered were Isabelle and Imogen but both have since been used by family and a close friend.

I have looked at so many names that I feel I don’t really love any and my DH won’t talk about it anymore! There are lots of names that we both agree are ok and his argument is we can just choose one of those when the baby is born. We are also getting lots of opinions from everyone which is not helping!

Not bothered about whether it’s the same initial as one of my other children and middle name is likely to be Caroline / Carolyn (all my kids have family middle names) Any ideas?

Some of the previous posters have it spot on with their suggested late Victorian/Edwardian names. Think novels from those eras (I'm thinking Brideshead, set a bit later but they would have been born around the turn of the 20th century) with Sebastian, Cordelia, Julia and Bridey (not sure what his real name was).

First thought was Emma?

As Sebastian is a lovely name but also has Catholic connotations could you not go for a female equivalent like Catherine or Elizabeth? Georgina, Alexandra, Mary (May) and Eleanor were also very much names of that time but would translate to the 21st Century.
