Suck on girls names !!!! Chloe - Freya - Scarlett

Baby girl is due next week and I can’t make up my mind . Worried that I will have baby name remorse !

Scarlett
Freya

love Mia too but v popular , also I think Gia and Gigi are beautiful but DD doesn’t like either .

Don't put that accent on Chloe, unless you want it pronounced Chloer (well a bit like that with a French accent).

Thanks - I do love Chloe - accidental backwards accent ( fat thumbs ) ! I know it’s not exactly unusual and there is the chav things a few years back but it’s beautiful.

Also love Freya - it sounds so soft and beautiful but worried about popularity… obviously it’s risky with all my names on the shortlist that she won’t be the only one in the school … all are up there on the lists .

Scarlett - love the Hollywood vibes

I went for an unusual name with my first daughter and struggled with everyone’s reaction because I could see on their faces they they weren’t keen which knocked me. Now it’s ok but when you’re hormonal it’s not easy to battle the judgy judy’s and you question yourself !
I guess this time I’m going with the pretty names that I really like instead of picking something so out there for the sake of her being the only one !

I love Scarlett and find very hollywood too. I actually considered Katie Scarlett for DD.

I also like the name Gigi (and the book/movie) but would use Georgette or something as a full name

I like Chloe and Freya. Not so keen on Scarlett.

Chloe and Zoe might be a little close for cousins.
Georgette is a fabric.
Chlo and Frey not good, IMO.

Go with a name you like and are sure you always will. Sibling names don't have to match.

They were all very popular 10 years ago and feel a bit dated now.

Of the three I like Freya the most, followed by Zoe. I really don’t like Scarlett.

I think Scarlett is lovely and Chloe is nice especially as its not very common nowadays. Freya is my least favourite but still nice!

@Sliversands , there won't be many Chloes her age, but there will be lots of them around. I know loads but they're not all the same age. They are 20ish now mainly, so the name might make her seem a lot older than she is.

I don't think that Scarlett has had it's day, just that it peaked about 10 yrs ago. There are fewer around than Chloe and Freya.
Why not wait until the baby arrives- she might not look like any of those names.

Baby Chloé is born ! we call her Coco as a nickname 😍, it really suits her :)
