I was having Finty for a girl and Danny for a boy . I had both and didn't use either names .

Ooh, bullet dodged for Courtney-Morgan. People would think she was a firm of accountants

I always liked Abigail but I have an name starting with a A and so does my husband so he banned names starting with A as gets confusing with post and is a bit Kardashian

I wanted to have a daughter called Perlane- don't ask 😂

I wanted to have twins called Charles and Charlotte. I was on the fence whether Charles and Charlotte should be human children or Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

Crystal (I was born in the 80s) or Atlanta or Destiny because that’s what Tony from East 17’s daughters were called.

If I had a girl it would have been Lily as I loved the character in the 80's fantasy film Legend. It then became ridiculously popular the last 10 years and put me off it. Had a baby boy anyway.

Peter and Gillian. They were both names I used to think of as watery, reminding me of bubbling streams.

I was going to have girls and give them boys names like Charlie, Tony and Andi. I did have girls but they all have very nice girls’ names rather than basic middle aged man names.

Simon and Jennifer. Jenny was on mine and ExDH's list for girls, although Kate was at the top. He was a boy, though, and his middle name is Simon. We couldn't use it as his first name because by then one of our close friends was called Simon and that would have been weird. However his actual name is nicer. I'm old...

Lydia - was obsessed with it. Didn't use it but do still quite like it.

I truly believed I would have boy/girl twins and planned to name them Brenda & Brandon 😳 or Harrison and Holly 🥴

I now have twin girls but there names are completely different to each other.

Always thought if I had a DD I'd call her Molly. But when I was pregnant with DD, it didn't even make my shortlist. Ended up calling her something entirely different.
